Dear Friends,

Since Christmas Eve 1969, families have celebrated many holy sacraments in our community. The forward thinking insight of the founders of our community allowed us all to share some of the most significant milestones of our lives together. Some have shared in the educational experience of Holy Trinity’s schools or the philanthropic experience of our many outreach programs. Some have intensely felt the presence of God in worship and prayer in His House. Some have professed their love for Christ and His Church through a lifetime of sacrificial commitment, and some have had the experience of remembering and honoring the life of a loved one in a beautiful Greek Orthodox funeral service.

From birth, baptism, and marriage, to death and remembrance, Holy Trinity has been a gathering place of prayer, worship, sharing, learning, and growing in the Lord for over forty-five years. Our past success has resulted from the generosity and selfless commitment by not only our visionary founders, but also by hundreds of dedicated parishioners. Year after year, our parishioners have recognized the ever changing needs of the community, and with love and devotion, we have met the challenges.

Now, it is time for us to move forward as a parish community and meet our future needs. For this reason, with the approval of our Parish Council, we will conduct a capital campaign to raise $6 million to increase the capacity of worship by renovating and expanding our sanctuary with a byzantine appearance while taking advantage of modernized technologies that will help reduce our operating costs and expand our ministries for our current and future church families.

It is our turn to help the church be prepared to meet the expectations and aspirations of our parishioners. We are in need of your tangible support to Holy Trinity by pledging to the capital improvement campaign. Your thoughtful consideration of our program and pledge for support is sincerely appreciated.

Gratefully yours in Christ,

Honoring our Faith, Building Our Future, Capital Campaign Prayer

CHRIST OUR GOD, we thank You for all that you have bestowed upon us and especially for our Holy Trinity Church, which you have entrusted to our care.

WE KNOW that all good things come from You and that this holy house has been given to us as a beacon of faith, hope and love.

WE ASK, LORD, that you free us from the bondage of sin and selfishness and grant us the grace to enter into a spiritual life, thinking and doing all things that are pleasing to You.

AS YOU WORKED in Abraham who gave in his abundance and the widow who gave in her poverty, we ask You to work in us throughout this Capital Campaign and beyond.

OPEN OUR HEARTS, LORD that Your will may be done in and through our parish.

FOR YOU ARE the God of mercy, love and salvation and we glorify You, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and to the ages of ages.

Amen.

What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
