The Synthronon is where the Bishop as the Good Shepherd and Good Teacher sits, presiding with his Priests in Council, to lead the People of God in worship, teach the Truth, and heal the sick for their eternal salvation as the Flock of Christ entrusted to their providential care. The<br />Synthronon consists of the Bishop’s Throne with seats for his Priests in a semi-circle, symbolically representing the Apostles in their Apostolic College at the Great Feast of Pentecost.
